The i-deck is a compact speaker system which is sleek in design and pleasing to look at. It feels like a robust, high quality piece of hardware and is very simple to set-up and start playing. I regard the sound quality as excellent and am very pleased with this purchase - particularly as I first looked at this in 2005 and it cost over 240, and now it is 99. You can't really go wrong at this price (it is still more on ebay) so I would strongly recommend this to anyone who wishes to find somewhere nice for their iPod to sit.

Bought this when it was 75 and have been blown away by quality. Yes it's not up to the same standard as the huge B&W speakers we've got at home but I have to say that it's the best 75 I've spent in a while. I don't think I've actually reached the maximum volume setting (and I've no idea what it is given there's no display on the dock) but have flooded the living room (approx 20sq m) with sound and so far no distortion.
The only small issue might be with bass for the pure bass lovers. There's no sub I can find. Am into a lot of different music and it's handled everything from Duke Ellingtion, Mozart, to Embrace, Nirvana, Nas, Jay-Z and some Ministry of Sound perfectly. Buy it - forget the BOSE and Apple systems. This truly deserves it's rating...

The main reason that I have decided to review this product is because Amazon wont listen to my complaint that there spec is wrong! This product does work with the Nano, even the new version (with an extra free bezel from I-deck) This product gives excellent sound and looks great. The mains adaptor works from 100v > 230v and comes with european and usa socket adaptors included.

I've just received my i-deck and am loving it. I've listened to the Bose and other cheaper systems and they don't come close. The i-deck has real stereo speakers, can go really loud and is musically as good as a home stereo. I've seen the What HiFi review and they hit the nail on the head, they said 'this is the most convincing iPod docking we've heard yet..'iPod junkie, Hemel Hempstead

Bought one of these i-deck's as a system for the dining room. After a couple of hours of having so much fun, decided to replace the living room hi-fi with the i-deck. Stick the i-pod on shuffle and have an endless (well 3000 songs is 9 days of music)party. It plays loud, it plays soft, it's got bass, it's refined. In fact it's pretty good for every kinda music. I (and my flat mates) are really enjoying my music, most of which I only have on my i-Pod. Sure 250 is a fair amount of cash, but this is a real hi-fi and only the same price as I paid for my i-pod last year. Killer!
