After looking and looking for an ipod speaker system for my kitchen i ended up with the intempo and am really pleased with it. Some websites are still selling this for 130 so at 55 its a real bargain. Build quality is excellent, it looks smart, contempory and sounds really good. Surprised how loud it could go. Will fill a room with ease and you can adjust base and treble via remote. I'm not saying i would have it as my main system but for a kitchen or dining room its great. The only slight moan i have is that it does not run on batteries (which i'm not fussed about anyway as not bought to travel with) and you cannot access ipod menu via remote.
Before this i bought the gear4 houseparty3 and sent it back as build quality was poor, so much so that the retractable tray was faulty. Sound was so so but not as good as the intempo despite supposingly having more powerful speakers.
When you look at how much cheap looking tacky junk there is out there for under 100 you cannot go wrong with this for 55.

At the new reduced price you would be silly to give this a miss. Sounds great is well made and does the job. Might buy some more for Xmas presents!

I've had one of these for nearly 18 months, during which I've dropped it several times (could do with a handle / recess in the back for lugging about perhaps? or maybe ishould be more careful. But it's still in one piece and works a treat. It's been used daily with my ipod and plugged in to my laptop for watching films and no quibbles at all. Ideal for anyone with limited space or who wants something (reasonably) portable. Sound quality is very good, with decent bass.

This is a great value product. I mean I have the Bose dock which is fantastic but way more expensive than this. I got this for someone else and they are very happy with it, funky looking and great sound. I also recommended it to someone else and they are really happy with it. Not the best sound quality but excellent for the money. Cant fault it because of that.
