5 out of 5 stars Excellent buy   September 4, 2007

A lot cheaper than the apple alternative and goes well with my black video ipod

Reception is excellent and the auto scan function finds radio stations quickly. Added bonus is that this also acts as a remote for the ipod when you're not using the radio. you can pause play skip and adjust the volume.

Highly recommended

5 out of 5 stars Perfect Accessory   January 7, 2008

This is the perfect accessory for the ipod, the radio reception is excellent and the remote control works well. The only thing you might want to consider is buying a set of headphones with a shorter lead. I liked mine so much I bought my brother one and he's happy with it.

3 out of 5 stars A mixed review   September 12, 2008

This is a great product. The radio is clear and it is really easy to use. It also has the ability to switch between the radio and being a remote for the I-Pod on it which means that you do not have to use the I-Pod itself to change between the two. This is something I have not seen on any of the similar products I have looked at. It is also very reasonably priced compared to other products.

However, I bought my first one in January. Around June, one of the headphones kept switching of as there seemed to be a wire loose. I put this down to my abuse of the product (I used to squash the wires in an attempt to get the I-Pod to stand up so I could watch video at the gym) and bought another one.

I am now in August and once again there seems to be a loose connection which means that one headphone cuts out with almost every movement. Very frustrating and I have been really careful with it this time.

I am now looking for another product but am finding it difficult to find another which has the functionality of this one and is as good value for money.

3 out of 5 stars Good functionality, bad build quality   November 27, 2008

I bought one of these to use as a controller for my iPod Touch when driving. It works great and although I never really used the radio feature was very happy with it...

Until the sides fell off and the buttons fell out. Add a little bit of glue and I would have given this 5 stars. Anyway, I'm going to buy another one since my old one's broken and I still need an iPod Touch remote.

2 out of 5 stars Waste of money!!   June 29, 2008

I purchased one of these from somewhere else and after a couple of months small usage it has fell apart the sides fell off and the buttons fell out!! tried getting back together but it impossible so not very good i mean it still works sort of but it looks messy and will in time stop working all together as dirt and dust will get inside it. not very well made will be buying a proper apple remote next time !! Griffin I thought you were a good company but now I take that back!!!!!!!!

People of the IPOD generation only buy proper Apple products they might cost more but at least they don't break within a couple of months.
