Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Great Product   October 25, 2008

This is a great product for controlling the songs on the ipod touch. Really quick and easy to change track, change volume and pause. The only downside is the earphone link downgrades the quality of the music. You can get past this by just plugging your earphones straight into the ipod touch itself. Really recommend this product to anyone looking for an ipod touch remote.

3 out of 5 stars Useful device, but sound degradation issues with loopthrough   October 4, 2008

It does what it says on the tin, in that it provides a remote control unit for the Ipod Touch. If you've ever travelled with a Touch then you know it is a bit of a torturous routine to change tracks and adjust volume. With this device you can keep your Touch hidden way while you control operations (volume, ff, rw, pause, place) using the remote control, which has a handy pocket/tie clip.

Sadly what would have otherwise been a 5 star device is let down by noticeable sound degration if you choose to loop your headphones through it. Among other things the device introduces a slight echo into the music and degrades low/high tones. The degradation seems much more noticeable with top range noise cancelling headphones such as Bose QC3. You can get around this by plugging your headphones directly into the Touch, rather than looping through the device.

3 stars awarded due to the sound degradation.
