these speakers are great and have made my Ipod just that little bit more enjoyable! i didn't buy these speakers for the a2dp but after trying it once i would say its ok but i haven't used a2dp before so it was interesting to try.the signal for the bluetooth wasn't that great not sure if that was down to the phone or speakers.back to the ipod functionality: IT DOES COME WITH A CONTROLLER the controller it comes with can control the ipod menus and does so quite well id say especially as it isn't a feature clearly featured or at all featured on any sites it also has a on/off switch repeat button, and volume. the speakers sound great even up to full volume and have made my old speakers look like utter rubbish. this could easily be suitable for a party etc, etc. the sound is great and if you're an average listener this will be a treat on your ears .

We have bought this and find it fantastic. We have 3 mobiles in the house all with different tunes stored on them as MP3s. When homw and fancy some tunes just tell your phone to play via the speaker and away you go with great sound. You can even fast forward the tunes via the remote and not have to pick up your phone.

This is all I want in speakers.
They are small enough so move about the house, look nice, the sound quality is excellent!!
One of the best bits about it, is it has a full functional remote and works very well, tried it up to about 5m away, and considering I have a 3rd gen nano, it gets difficult to see the screen if i go any further!
Like a notice someone else has said, it has finnished my ipod off.
It comes with a two pin adaptor too for when you go on your hols.
Tried the bluetooth out too, which again is brilliant, very simple to use, and reacts very fast to be flicking through my phone, you can also control the music on your phone via the remote control.
I managed to pick this item up cheaper from another retailer, but got student discount, which helps.......
all in all very very impressed, dont know if I have mentioned it, but the speakers are x2 30watt too.

Received this item today,works well with the ipod touch.
The remote that comes with the gear4 works well with the ipod touch menus even from a distance of over 10 metres.
Excellent sound,looks stylish and neat buy one before they all go.
I will be keeping this nothing compares to it thanks Amazon.

I found that this station was cheap in it's build quality and made a quiet but distinct interence noise when no music was playing (or between tracks!)
I would not recommend this for any iPod Touch users, I cannot speak for it with other iPods.
