Fresh out of the box December 15, 2005 Neil (London United Kingdom) 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
Well, its astounding how time has moved on. This new quirky, yet time-resourceful piece of eqipment has been the best addition to my iPod. As a regular commuter, i fear taking my iPod out on the Tube, but this fairly proportioned remote is really useful to change tracks without changing the track. And the buttons are well integrated to stop any track changing when you least want it. I am seriously impressed by this product. Now all that is left is to see whether it stands the test of time...
Good idea, but quality of make mediocre August 9, 2005 I. Vatchkov (London, UK) 20 out of 22 found this review helpful
Bought this recently as was a cheaper version of the one offered on the apple website. The design is ok, but it doesn't work properly with older ipods unless you update the software. So don't rush to return in before you use the ipod updater. Even after that, it does not work 100% - does have a few quirks (and the range is far smaller than the advertised 150ft). Does the job though and is simple enough. On balance would try a slightly pricier version, as may work better.
does it stand the test of time? January 9, 2008 J. dower it's nifty, it doesn't drain the battery from your ipod like some of the others, and i had no problems at all. Apart from one big one... I've had 2 and they've both broken by me simply removing them - and I was very careful with them.
