I use my MP3 player with this gadget and it works great. Best to put the volume up max on your player that way you can keep the car stereo volume done to get a clearer sound - less intereference from your engine. This is a great device for anyone without a car stereo/mp3 player. You get a good clear sound through the device and is so easy to setup. Absolutely spot on for price.

I was a bit worried that this might not work, as it is so much cheaper than some makes, including Apple's, but it is fine, easy to fit and great sound quality. I've just ordered another one for a friend.

This is so cheap for what it gives you. It plugged into the cigarette lighter, I switched it on, tuned the LCD display to the main FM station and out burst my own sounds. I have a 80GB i-Pod and the wife has a 4GB Nano and they both work off the same device with no need to re-tune the radio.
Buy it - it's great, easy to use and good value.

Bought it for a friend's birthday, and he assures me it works fine. I didn't realise that the little grippers are adjustable - so it will work with different widths of mp3 player. That was my one concern when giving it to him, but it was fine in the end.
