Superb June 5, 2008 Mr. Christopher D. Brown (uk) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use this in my Renault Laguna Sport Tourer with my ipod touch. As long as the ipod volume is high I get crystal clear music which is as good as the car CD player. Works for me!
Not perfect but does the job October 16, 2007 Mr. J. P. Mckillop (Scotland) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I've just received my Tunecast III. Very simple to operate, but not without it's problems, although these may be down to my MP3 player. Operating the Tunecast is a doddle. Tuned it in OK, preset OK, switch on/off OK, switch between stereo and mono OK. Very simple to use. I found it switching off for no apparent reason even when connected to the 12V in the car. Turns out the volume on my MP3 player isn't high enough, and the Tunecast decides to switch off as it doesn't think it is receiving a signal. Why this can't be overridden is another matter altogether. Anyway, even with my volume up at it's highest setting, some of my quieter recordings cause the device to switch off. Apart from this, this is a good device. I suspect I can overcome the problem by re-recording my items at a higher volume, but this will take lots of time. For info, the MP3 player is a Sandisk Sansa E270.
Good but not great! March 31, 2008 Peter Collins (United Kingdom) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
i currently brought this product from PC World but i wish i hadnt seeing the price now on amazon. but i find this works great with my Ipod nano. the only downside is if you have your EQ set to bass or any other setting the music become distored so just turn off the EQ but apart from that its fine. they could of also extended the range of frequancys its hard to find a frequancy with no music on it.
very pleased with this item April 10, 2008 Mr. E. Stedman (Northumberland, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've just received my TuneCast 3 from Amazon at an incredible price. It was very easy to set up and using my Sony Eriksson mobile I was able to get excellent sound quality outputting my mp3 files (192kbps) via my car radio. There is a slight (very low) level hum between tracks, but once you're driving you can't hear it. Really impressed overall, considering all the negative reviews.

Great gadget for the current Amazon price (almost double anywhere else) and more robust than the Tunecast 2 that does not like being dropped! After a little patience and experimenting I now have glorious stereo (or Mono if you so wish) to compliment my driving experiences. It comes with a self adhesive holder that can be positioned anywhere in the car to cause the least distraction whilst driving, and has easy programming and a clear screen, (unlike the Tunecast 2 which was a bit cumbersome) it also comes with a very handy extendable lead. The only drawback is that it does tend to cut out if the volume on the MP3 player is to low, so it needs to be set at maximum volume (this can be compensated by your car stereo volume control)I am using a Creative Zen 5+.
