At Last an Ipod FM Transmitter that works! November 21, 2006 In Glorious Black And White (UK) 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
So easy to tune, no guesswork; so compact. At last I am rid of that infernal buzzing in the background. Lots of help available in the package, but not really needed. I had to discard the other transmitter I bought due to constantly having to fiddle to try and optimise reception only to find that it would change half a mile down the road. My home tuner also shows a vast improvement. This is the only one to buy, pay a couple of ' 's more Kensingto's gismo is the best.
The smallest iPod FM Transmitter September 16, 2006 KR (UK) 51 out of 53 found this review helpful
Kensington's Pico FM Transmitter for iPod stands out from other brands because of its size: at 1.57" x .98" x 1.9", it's small, roughly half the height of XtremeMac's AirPlay2 and Belkin's TuneFM for iPod nano, and a little thinner. It uses your iPod's screen for FM tuning, featuring a simple, intuitive three-position switch on its right side that tunes up or down, and selects with a press to the center. It also works with new 2nd generation iPod Nano.
Perfect little gem November 30, 2006 D. Oconnor (Salford, UK) 27 out of 28 found this review helpful
This little gem is excellent It's smaller than I thought and when connected looks like its part of the Ipod. Setting it up is a breeze, just find a free radio station and tune the Pico into the same station and voilla! What's great about this is that the volume on the ipod can be turned right down (good idea to save battery) and still blast through sound. Granted because it's wireless depending how good your stereo is you will have to turn up the volume higher than normal, increasing the volume on the ipod has no affect. I must say you will hear a tiny amount of interference if your songs have sounds gaps but that could be due to the quality of my car aerial. However generally you wont hear anything even if you try to listen out for it. I live in near the city centre and drive alot in traffic so I was expecting interference from other cars, absolutely not. This item is perfect and a great accessory which I've been waiting for and I can now ditch the scratch CD's I have lying around the car. I would have give it 4 stars but because everywhere else this item more expensive plus shipping the extra start is for the bargain price.
Almost perfect April 17, 2007 Foxile 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
A piece of cake to set up and use. Even without reading the instructions, I was happily playing music through my car radio in seconds. The only fly in the ointment is that it doesn't line up perfectly with my 2nd Gen Nano, but it's not enough of a drawback to warrant losing a star.
A fantastic ipod transmitter January 9, 2007 Mr. P. S. Glenn (Northern Ireland, UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Kensington Pico is ultra-small fits to any ipod via the docking port (not suitable for ipod shuffle). It's extremely easy to to tune and sends a strong signal to your radio so that it's virtually impossible to tell that it's not a CD you've got on. Definately a brilliant buy.
