Product Description We've completely rethought how the product interfaces with the user both aesthetically and functionally. iTrip now uses the iPod's high resolution LCD for optimal viewing of station information. Additionally the sled design and minimalist controls make this the thinnest FM transmitter for the slimmest iPod to date. Griffin's SmartDisplay? technology seamlessly integrates all functions and features with the iPod nano. iTrip information is displayed on the best screen in the industry: the gorgeous iPod nano screen. One touch navigation puts all iTrip functions at your fingertip. This also makes iTrip for iPod nano the easiest-to-operate FM transmitter, ever. The exclusive SmartSound? volume control, dynamically adjusts iPod's volume level for optimal audio quality. Additionally, users can control iTrip's volume level through the iPod's click wheel. iPod nano slides into iTrip and securely connects via the iPod's dock and headphone connectors. iTrip accomplishes all this without adding bulk to the slim, sexy iPod nano. To stay securely attached it uses patented micro grip technology. This technology uses microscopic material to provide a secure grip without ever losing its holding properties. iTrip's innovative selectable mono or stereo modes allow the user to adjust for the absolute best possible reception under real-world conditions. Enable the Mono mode in tough situations, such as large cities with stations crowding the dial for unparalleled reception. Switch to stereo mode for the best audio reproduction when you have a clear station. Keeping your music broadcasting is no problem. iTrip draws its nominal power directly from iPod nano, requiring no batteries or AC adapters. A built-in USB port allows iPod nano to charge or synchronize music. Perfect for use in autos or at home.

Happy days August 16, 2006 Orla O'neill 56 out of 59 found this review helpful
I bought my beloved Nano at Christmas and purchased a few accessories, like a little neoprene case and a speaker dock and I thought I had it all figured out until my boyfriend got me the iTrip as a gift recently. I wouldn't be a technical genius so was really impressed at how easy it was to set up and programme, I spend a lot of time on the road with work and we sail at the weekends and this product has proved fantastic for both purposes as it completely frees my tunes for easy listening. I don't get enough proper me time to use earphones too much and have found this product invaluable. Ocassionally in central London and really heavy traffic there is some slight interference but the majority of the time it is crystal clear. The product is designed beautifully and I'm really happy with it overall.
Does Not Work October 17, 2006 Mr. Scott Stewart 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
Please be carefull when purchasing this product it does not work with the new 8GB nano as it has different connections. BUT there is nothing wrong with the product itself.
Its great! maybe read the description other reviewers! April 29, 2007 Mo Hoyt (North Berwick, Scotland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Firstly I'd like to mention that these iTrip's are truly great things and this one is no exception. They are especially brilliant in the car during long journeys when you just get bored of cassettes or normal radio... One thing though... The majority of the reviewers here are giving this product stick and a rubbish rating because THEY DIDN'T READ THE DESCRIPTION... 1ST GENERATION iPod NANO!!!! Yes there is a difference, so make sure to read the description...
ipod trip June 2, 2007 A. Dawson Excellent bit of kit for your ipod. Great to be able to listen to ipod through any digital radio removing need for Headphones. Would def recommend. Though note for First Generation nanos only.
Almost Perfect October 26, 2006 Aabid Kanji (U.K) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I love this Itrip. It produces a crystal clear signal when playing but in between songs, there is a slight static noise or crackling. It is a great piece of equiptment and the crackling is only a small flaw.
