I have had one of these for about a year now and bought my sister one for Christmas '05 . . . neither of us have experiencd any problems and are both extremely happy with our Road Trips!
Using a Road Trip also means that your iPod is always fully charged and ready to go - unlike other radio transmitting devices! The iPod is also not loose in your vehicle and prone to damage!!
I would not hesitate to recommend this item . . .

The first one I received was faulty but Amazon replaced immediately without question and the new one works extremely well. I'm using it in a Renault Clio and it sits very nicely and is easily accessible. I've also used it at home to play the music on my PC through my HiFi and again it works well. This really beats the cassette adaptor with wires trailing, it's very neat and compact.

After using a cassette adapter for several months I was delighted by the superb sound quality of the RoadTrip. The unit is very easy to set up and works well despite my Volvo's radio aerial being in the rear windscreen. The sound quality is almost as good as the car's CD player - I would highly recommend one!

My CD player kept jumping when I played copied cd's and I finally had enough!. I bought myself the 30gig White Ipod and after a long time looking finally chose to go with the griffin Road trip and I'm very glad I did!!. Just sits perfectly in my ford fiesta and is incredibly easy to set up. Plugged it in and was away in seconds. Sometimes I get the odd interference but you can only tell if you have the volume up very loud!. ( and I mean loud ). Overall this is the perfect product. I don't think you can get a better product for a better price.

After an unsuccessful encounter with an ipod tape adapter (sound only from one channel!), I purchased the Griffin Roadtrip. It worked straight from the box - no problems at all. It seemed tailor-made for my car (BMW 5 series) and the sound is clear and unaffected by static or other signals. Perhaps I am fortunate in living in rural Norfolk where there are few radio stations - time will tell if it is as good when I visit more populated areas. A 5 star product!
