Small but mighty March 12, 2008 H. Bennett (Wokingham, Berkshire, UK) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I bought myself an iPod and had the Sony MDREX81 earphones from a previuous MP3 Player which were ok but not very loud. Just bought these earphones good frequency over all ranges and LOUD!!!. Good buy
Quality headphones...... worth buying! May 26, 2008 Rob.M (England) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've bought the CX400s to replace my SHURE E2Cs. Also had a pair of SONY MDR-EX71SLB but had the same problem as many did with the wires becoming exposed! The sound quality of CX400s is excellent... not really sure what else 2 say, that says it all. The bass i find is not overpowering, but is well balanced and makes the music flow.... if that makes sense! I haven't been experiencing heavy bass like some other reviewers have said, probably because of the volume level or maybe the type of music that is played. The extras included are a nice addition, i especially like the pouch or 'carry bag' as they call it... good quality material! =] A worthy purchase. Highly recommended!
Excellent Bass May 23, 2008 J. R. Docherty (Cleveland, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My personal preferrence for earphones is that i prefer a sound with more bass. Having already owned some over ear Sennheiser's with noise reduction technology I know that a default of this technology is that it gives more bass. Well having looked at several makes and models of in-ear phones for use in the gym I opted for the CX400's. And I'm very glad I did. Excellent sound, loads of bass, so much infact that depending on what type of music I am listening to I sometimes change the sound type on my I-pod to give less bass!! All round excellent sound, very smart looking. I'd definetely recommend these to anyone!!
Pretty damned good May 26, 2008 neal (Norwich, UK) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Having got increasingly fed up with quiet sony headphones on my phone, I decided to try these. If the frequency response had been 10 - 21000Hz, thye would be perfect. They are loud enough, the sound is clear and they can be used with the hands free sets for Sony Walkman phones - ie. they have a short cord for the headphones and an extension lead. I'm using these with a DS200 bluetooth stereo headset and a w910i. The W910i works well as a walkman but Sony's headphones are getting quieter all the time. These are good enough to make me consider other sennheisers too. I don't expect walkman headphones to last forever but these do a good job and at the price are excellent value. Id' be happy to replace these after 6 months as I only paid about a fiver.
Excellent! June 10, 2008 Ridler36 (Wiltshire) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
