5 out of 5 stars iTech Blueband   January 5, 2008

Hi, just read the reviews of itech above and was somewhat suprised. I've used mine for a year and a half, and consider myself to be an audio enthusiast. I bought them after doing a lot of research on the web, as i cannot stand poor sound quality. They sound fantastic...good clear vocals from the mid range, rich deep bass, wide sound, good insulation of external sounds, comfortable. The battery life is incredible. I use the every day at the gymn, when running and when driving as my hands free kit and i recharge fortnightly.

The quality of sound you get depends a little on the device it is paired to. I used to have an LG mobile which skipped when i was walking as it could not maintain the signal as far as my pocket with a strong enough link. I bought an armband to hold my phone when i was at the gymn, but shortly afterwards upgraded to a Sony Ericsson phone which is far better quality. I can now leave the phone on my desk and wander around my room no problem. It also worked with my Samsung MP3 player very well.

It has always paired with friends phones when i have showed them it. I think it's a good advert for them that 4 or 5 of my friends have bought the same pair after listening to mine!

I bought these headphones to listen to audio on my motorolla k1 whilst exercising. Have used them whilst on the treadmill at the gym and on the exercise bike. Am very impressed and it is fantastic not needing to have your phone fastened to your arm. Calls and text messages beep through. The sound is great without blocking off all other sound around you. Great being able to adjust volume on one of the headsets. Very pleased and impressed so far.

4 out of 5 stars Great headphones, but check your compatibility   November 5, 2005

When I opened the box, I was amazed at the ergonomic form factor and light weight. I quickly paired the headphones with my Sony K750i mobile phone expecting to play music and radio, but alas this does not work because the headphones require your device to support Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). The headphones do work well as a regular headset for phone calls, so don't be put off.

So then I tried playing music from my Sony VAIO laptop, but this didn't work either! Finally, I got my laptop playing high quality stereo to my i-Tech BlueBAND headphones, so I'm able to watch DVDs in bed without tying myself up in wires. And the really good news is that my mobile phone cuts in over the laptop audio feed when I get a call. In summary, you'll like the light weight, comfortable form factor, good looks and cool flashing blue light thingy, but you'll wish your phone had A2DP and that you could talk over Skype.

4 out of 5 stars Works fine for me!!!   November 9, 2006

I thought i'd write a quick review as most of the reviews here aren't good! The bad reviews almost put me off buying this headset, but i figured for the price i would give them a whirl.

I had no problem pairing them with my Sony Ericsson W850i ( no software needed) and the sound quality is fine. If i had to criticise then maybe i'd say that it would be handy if the headphones came with a little pouch to keep them in (they fold down quite small).

It’s a really fantastic product and discovered it also comes with iTech’s own software which I upload to my Nokia 6680 so I can listen to my music from my phone with this wire-free headset. The sound quality is really good just like you are listening to a decent music from a CD player. It will remind you there is an incoming call as the music will pause – you’re not even aware that you’re listening to the music from your phone, there is no wire at all, how amazing is it…?!

I haven’t really heard of these guys so I looked at their iTech website and found other goodies, a Bluetooth adaptor which is the stuff that can work with my i.Pod. I bought the adaptor the other day then my life changed, I can listen to the music everywhere and my iPod is simply lying in my purse safely, I walk around, shopping but the music never stops even I was changing. In the meantime, I will never be afraid that my mates can’t find me because the alert is, the music stops - there must be an incoming call. My world is clear without all the wire, no keyrings twisting together any longer…

Only one bit I’m not really happy with, it’s loud enough but it could be a little bit louder…
