When my original iPod earphones broke, which I thought were quite loud at the time, before I had the money to buy a decent pair, I decided to purchase these, and when I was more financially capable, get a full-out fantastic set. I ordered these, and when I received them, neither the left nor right bud worked. I guess it was just a fluke, I ordered again, and I was pleasantly surprised. The sound quality was great, I couldn't hear anything else. That lasted, say, all of 2 days. Seriously, I've noticed a pattern, as I've been through about six pairs of these in the last two months. One of the buds goes fuzzy, then completely cuts out, the next soon follows. I now have Sennheiser's, which I'd highly recommend (:
