Superb!!! May 18, 2006 David C. 49 out of 49 found this review helpful
I purchased after reading all the other positive reviews on Amazon and I'm so glad I did... sound is amazing from such a small and portable speaker - I look behind it expecting it to be a foot thick!! Bracket for the NANO is supplied now (earlier reviews commented that brackets were for older ipods) and mine fits in it perfectly Well worth the money - and super saver delivery only took 3-4 days. Rechargeble battery is great - been running for seven hours so far and no sign of giving up. (when you first charge this speaker, it will not play, even with the power connected until it is FULLY charged) - after that works fine, I didn't think the instructions made that clear. Remote is wicked - and carry case is a really sturdy, zipped and will store my speakers, nano and remote - and I'm sure it will be safe in my suitcase. Don't waste your money on the station or other smaller ones (the mm50 will pay for itself on batteries alone!!)
Fantastic buy May 20, 2006 Michael Shellshear (UK) 39 out of 39 found this review helpful
This is a fantastic set of speakers for your i-pod, The fact that it's portable is the main reason i bought it. You can pretty much take it anywhere, It's very light allthough the carry case could use a handle. The sound quality is just amazing, cosidering the size it packs a puch when you turn the volume right up, The remote it comes with is cute it has a small range but does it's job. The 3D sound does make the sound much better too, I didn't think it did at first but after a while of having it and playing about with differnt songs i found that it does add a extra bit of range to the sound.
Simply amazing August 14, 2006 R. Berry 37 out of 37 found this review helpful
I was really dubious that something this cheap could be good especially as the sound quality from the ipod through my home stereo is not great. However, I am so impressed and taken aback; pleased to be proved wrong. It's portablilty is great too. It is so small and light you can take it anywhere. Perhaps not loud enough for a big party but is unbeatable in all other uses. (It works well at BBQs.) Thanks to other reviewers for guiding me to this product and for not lying about it!
Hope this helps as I was helped! August 3, 2006 Steven Fletcher (Lincoln, England) 32 out of 32 found this review helpful
I had deliberated for an absolute age as to which I-Pod speaker system to get - BOSE SoundDock, Altec Lansing, Klipsch i-groove,Apple hi-Fi but they all seemed so expensive and I struggled justifying paying more for the speakers than the i-pod itself. I finally decided upon the Logitech MM50 - mainly from the rave reviews that I read on these pages - and in recognition of the help that these comments provided to me I would like to add mine to hopefully help others to escape the state of 'paralysis by analysis'. I freely admit to being a technical numpti when assessing the merits of music systems - to me they either sound good or they don't and it would be unfair to compare sound produced from the Logitech Speakers to a home hi-fi. Even so I have to say they really are the Dogs ******* . The sound quality, relative to the size is excellent - as good as a quality boom box, they also look good, are portable and have a quality feel - I would thoroughly recommend them - sometimes I am left regretting purchasing something that is a third of the cost of the more expensive alternatives (the old buyers remorse syndrome!), but I can say with absolute certainty I am delighted with my purchase and not a bit dissapointed - In fairness to the other I-pod speaker systems mentioned, I have not listened to them and indeed they may be better, but I doubt if they would be 3 times better as the other speakers cost 3 times as much
Don't waste your money on Bose June 15, 2006 A young fogey (UK) 31 out of 31 found this review helpful
If you want a speaker system for your ipod buy these. They are superb. I was sceptical of some of the other reviews that said they were close to the Bose Sound dock but at less than a third of the cost they don't need to be that close to be excellent value for money. Sure, they get a bit distorted when you take the volume up very high - but they are small portables, not a stage rig. The build quality is as good as anything out there and the swing out stands are neatly executed. The travel case is good and the remote works better than some of the other reviews would have you believe - in any case it would be churlish to complain about the range of a remote on 70 speakers. Be thankful you get one.
