5 out of 5 stars The best mp3 player for price, sound, and function   February 2, 2008

1. Better than the ipod shuffle and creative stone on price, sound and functions.
2. Twice the memory of the 1gig shuffle, almost 20 less.
3. Unlike the shuffle, it comes with a fully functioning, easy to use menu, which sorts music by artist, album, genre, popularity etc.
4. Unlike the stone and the shuffle it has a radio, and it is the best reception of any radio I've every had on an mp3 player.
5. Finally, the sound quality is fantastic.
6. Never used the headphones so can't comment.

The sound quality is LOTS better than my IPOD Classic so much so its not even funny, especially if you've forked out 207 for a IPOD thinking it would be the equal of the clip in SQ, oh well you live and learn!

Not long received my Sandisk MP3 player and i'm very impressed with such a small product. Charging didn't take to long, transferring my music is straight forward (even for a simpleton like me). The product is easy to use with user friend instructions, you can skip through your music with ease. The sound quality is very impressive the head phone are very comfortable and they stay in your ears. I'm very impressed with this mp3 player I do recommend it excellant value for the money. Its a small player but big on sound trust me!

5 out of 5 stars Who wants an IPOD?   July 18, 2008

I was about to buy yet another IPOD, grimacing about spending anything upwards of 50.00. When lamenting about being locked into Itunes, again, a friend suggested one of these. An MP3 player, Radio, Voice recorder and it requires NO special software!! Get one and forget your Itunes frustrations forever. Excellent value for money.

5 out of 5 stars Knocks the shuffle out of the water...   May 23, 2008

I spent a while resarching what mp3 player was the best for under 50 & this is most definitely it, its great. A steal at 30, it has all the features you could want. I've had an ipod shuffle for the past few years & now I wonder what on earth I was thinking. Sure, they look nice but...that's pretty much it. This thing has a screen, sorts music, has a radio (reception is good indoors, better outdoors) and pretty much everything else. You can also troubleshoot if needed & download firmware from the sandisk website [w] http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board?board.id=clip to keep its features bang up to date. The earphones that come with it are ok, if you're looking for a top of the range pair then it's a given you'll need to buy those separately. It's a piece of cake to drag & drop music onto the player and it's even simpler to use Windows Media Player to sync them up. I am free of iTunes and I cannot tell you how good it feels....

If you're wondering what to buy, this is it.
