Compared to Shure E2G's June 28, 2007 Jonathan Harper (UK) 31 out of 32 found this review helpful
These win hands down. I bought a pair of Shure's E2Gs last month expecting an excellent product from the leaders in the field. They arrived and I used them for about 2 weeks. I was actually quite disappointed with the sound quality of the Shure's feeling they didn't give out enough bass (I'm not particularly mad about bass but you need it to a degree to stop tininess) and was contemplating returning them. As I was deciding this, I foolishly lost them so that put an end to that. I then looked around for some replacements and ended up going for the Sony's, mainly due to the fact that I have always been satisfied with Sony's products. I am happy to say these are no different; they provide more bass and generally a richer sound than the E2G's and were 25.00 cheaper. The Shure carrying pouch is better than Sony's protector, that said, it took up a lot of room in comparison with Sony's little pod but protected everything instead of just the bud bits. Anyhow, all in all, I would definitely recommend these earphones. So far at least, they have proved excellent value for money and produce a superb rich sound considering price.
Awesome headphones February 1, 2008 Randolph W. Sweeting First pair of in-ear headphones that stay in my ears. I've tried shaking my head like a crazy mofo, they still stay in, big improvement from my sony ericcsons which fall out when i walk. sound quality is very good, they go rather loud, as loud as i wanna be listening to my ipod on the way to college anyway. great buy. reccomended without a doubt.
Sony MDREX32LPB In-Ear Headphone July 18, 2008 aphrodites_child 666 (england) When i first used these i had a little problem with keeping them in my ears but now thanks to the changeable rubber covers you get with it i have that sorted, Now these are probably the best headphones ive ever bought, The sounds brilliant and they have alot of base, once you have them fitting your ears right they sound perfect. Also even though some people have said in reviews that they itch and make your ears sweat i havn't seemed to have that problem and i use them almost all day some days definatly 5 stars from me
Excellent April 25, 2008 Davey (Devon United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are the first of this type i have used (in-ear) and i am very pleased. They are light and (for me at least) fit in the ear well. At last i can listen to the ipod while going off to sleep and rest my head on the pillow without having my ear squashed by the 'outside ear' sort of headphone. They do leave my ears rather hot inside but really that has only been noticeable 'after' i have taken them out and the cooler air touches the skin.
Stunning audio quality August 12, 2008 aa22 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm no earphone expert, but after reading a few reviews I bought these (my other Sony's stopped working (MDR-E818LP)). They came with the M size rubber buds fitted but they didnt fit me as they were too big, I tried the S size and they fit perfectly. These are my first 'in-ear' earphones so I was very pleased. Had a listen to a few songs and they sounded like comepletely new songs, with loads of bass and other little sounds that I'd never heard before in the songs. VERY happy with them. My only gripe is that it has an asymmetrical cord, which I hate but I can live with it for now seeing as how the quality is very good.
