5 out of 5 stars Good for the Gym   May 5, 2007

As a new to the gym and new to Ipod girl, I searched the web for such a product as this and found the perfect answer on Amazon. I wanted an armband that would allow me to see the screen on my Nano2G, and also have access to plug in my charger and ipod FM radio without taking it out of the sleeve.(Obviously I wasn't charging it while wearing it!) A bonus, which was also worthwhile, is the cord storage, to wind round and secure the extra length on the headphone lead, which is in an attractive orange, and looks like a long toggle. I found the armband has adequate touch and close fastenings and an extra moveable loop to tuck the end of the arm strap into for skinnier arms. I can loosen it slightly whilst on the running machine(even though I personally only walk fast)! I've tried it out on a cycle ride, and it was comfortable to wear, handling bumpy roads too, without slipping. Add to this the fact it is machine washable, the stitching is good and the plastic sleeve has extra taped seams to stop the corners of the Ipod pushing through or breaking the stitches, I think this was a brilliant purchase. Good price, good product.

4 out of 5 stars Simple but effective armband for the gym   October 24, 2008
Mr. Nigel Collins (Bristol, UK)
This is the second armband I have had for the gym - the clip on the first one (Marware) broke. I have used it for a month and it is simple but effective. Have not had the problem that another reviewer had with plastic 'toughening up' but I will post another review later if that does happen.

3 out of 5 stars Velocro not well positioned   October 26, 2008
Mr. M. Kinney (Kent)
I had to make two alterations to make it useable. (a) Add some more velcro in the right place for my arme size, and (b) add supeglue to stop the plastic loop from slipping. Otherwise, very good.

2 out of 5 stars armband video ipod - issue with clear pastic   September 27, 2008

I purchased this about 10 months ago - since then the plastic has toughened on the see through screen making it very difficult to control the ipod through the plastic. You can skip forward and back but the sensitivity necessary to adjust the volume is lost. A second issue is that the velcro is in sections meaning not all diameters of arm are a good fit - you can usually get the thing to stay stuck at some point on your arm.
Still does the simple of job of blocking out the gyms dodgy tracks well and keeps the ipod dry and out of harms way.

1 out of 5 stars Too small for an Ipod Classic   October 24, 2008
N. FOX (Manchester (UK))
I can't use this armband for my Ipod Classic - it doesn't fit :-( The way the band fits round your arm isn't great either. It's great if you've got a massive arm but if you have a normal sized / small arm then you have a flappy bit of strap hanging over. Why don't Apple sell sports armnands for the classic? So annoying!!
