Great design and very neat high gloss black finish.(Also white?)
Complete with power supply and 3pin UK and 2 pin plugs + leads
-perfect for travelling.
Standard small 3.5mm jack lead supplied so they will work with any headphone-out socket (mp3/cd walkman/laptop/pc etc)
They sound really great. No they won't do for the disco, but will fill a standard room with clear quality sound. Full volume they distort, but so does any speaker at any price.
Bass is good for the size, especially when placed on a secure shelf or solid floor, as the 'feet' carry the lower range. They have an amazing stereo sound - voices appear from between the speaker in a very convincing manner.
Elecom are huge in Japan - and a bargain off Amazon.co.uk

This is a fantastic value entry level speaker system. The sound quality is very good although the bottom end is a bit lacking. I am really pleased with my speakers, the quality of build far exceeds the price tag.

I bought this to use as a speaker system at work so went for it based solely on its low cost, but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Nice-ish looking and has excellent sound quality considering the price and size of the speakers, overall a nice purchase.

I have just purchased theses speakers and was very impressed when I received them. Although they were a bit bigger than what I had hoped the sound quality and design is very impressive and they are a bargain for the price

I bought this speaker as a gift for someone, thinking that I can directly plug the speakers into the computer and it'll work. I was looking for something small and non complicated. However for this set of speakers, you have to plug it into the wall, something I was trying to avoid buying. So that was the main drawback. You can still carry this around traveling but the speakers are bigger than expected, like a remote control, and you'll have to bring all the plugs and wires with you. I wouldn't recommend these speakers for frequent travelers.
Also, I wouldn't recommend these speakers for a home user. If you're looking for something cheap and really good, you can spend an extra 5 pounds to get the Logitech X-230. This comes with the subwoofer but you get excellent sound quality for a cheap price. The quality is miles better than this.
Get these speakers if you're looking for something that looks good and you're not looking for great quality sound.
