This is the black case for the iPod video. It is a perfect fit for my 30GB, and it has been designed so there is a space for the headphones too, instead of them having to go around the case making things impractical.
The screen is completely viewable, as is the click wheel. There is a cut out section on the bottom which allows the iPod to be charged when it is inside the case which is ideal.
Also, there is a small section on the flap of it in which you can put your headphones or such like.
High quality leather, a good value purchase.

I like this case. Ok it has the stupid belt clip but I don't think I'd hang 150+ of ipod video in plain view anyway, that's just asking to get bashed over the head or drop off under a car when you run across the road. I've removed the clip and unscrewed the mount and now it's just a sleek case and good looking as hell.
I'm pleased it doesn't have one of those stupid 'clear' plastic mobile phone type covers over the screen. They go yellow, crack, stick to and even scratch the screen over time. Do yourself a favour and buy some stick on screen protectors. They're easy to put on and take off and when it gets tatty, stick another one on, a couple of quid and no scratches, bargain.
The charging hole in the bottom is a little bit tight when it's new but hey, this is real leather and it soon softens up and then there's plenty of room.
Overall, a perfect, well designed case which unlike me is as handsome as hell. Buy one now.

It is a really good case and the only way the screen could get scratched is when it is open. also there is a different case for the nano made by the same people but smaller. It fits all your needs

Top product for a top price! I did read the reviews (after I had ordered!) and was a little nervous, but I needn't have been. It's perfect for the job. The previous reviewer who had problems with the cutaway in the case for the USB lead must have been unlucky, as mine is plenty big enough. True, the plastic of the belt attachment seems less than confidence-inspiring, so I may not risk it, but the lanyard makes up for that, and besides, the leather is not so bulky that you can't still slip the player in your pocket. I could have paid an awful lot more elsewhere for a leather cover for my precious iPod - I'm glad I didn't. Oh! And top marks to Amazon for their delivery - ordered on Sunday, arrived on Tuesday. Most excellent!

Though this isn't the best case for the IPOD, it certainly does what it's designed to do: Protect your sacred IPOD from scratches and stuff. The belt clip also comes in handy and the leather material is smooth and strong. Do not buy if you are the type that likes to watch videos regularly on the IPOD as it's frustrating to have to open and close the case every time to do that.
