i can only say these are the best on the market whatever sound y like ,the qualiity is top end ive had the r6is not any where near these get em bought

Having looked on amazon for a while, for some new 'in-ear' headphones, I was pretty keen to get the Xtrememac FSE's, based on the product description, price and the previous customer review. How disappointed I was when I connected them to my ipod video. The rich deep bass was non-existant and the sound, overall was pretty weak. I needed to turn the volume up very high to really hear the music properly, but still with no bass. Admittedly the sound is very clear indeed, with vocals coming to the fore (hence 2 stars, not 1), but just no depth to the music because of no bass and mediocre trebles. I tried all the ear buds/foams (of which there is an excellent selection), with the same disappointing results. I even tried them with my sony hi-fi system, just to double check the sound quality, but got the same poor results. Sorry, I can't recommend these, unless you like no bass and moderate mid-range sound to your music.
