Well Impressed December 26, 2007 H. J. Parker (Lanarkshire, Scotland) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
Got the white version along with the black for Christmas presents on a special offer with amazon for my daughters, and I've got to say how glad I was that they were really impressed with the sound quality and ease of use which is great when you want to use it right away and not get bamboozled with complicated instructions. So far so good, hope it stands the test of time ( excuse the pun!) Recommend!
Cheaper than the whte one! May 16, 2008 The Bookman (No where) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I was looking for an alarm clock and an ipod speaker stand - saw this and thought I'd combine the two! The unit works straight out the box and set up is a doddle, the speaker is on a scale of 1 (soft) - 40 (mental) and the system is a nice piano black with a nice and bright face (4 settings) that can be turned off or light up the room bright. It has 2 alarms so you can set one for you and one for someone else, and you can wake to the radio/buzzer/ipod. If you want to wake up to the ipod you must leave it plugged in - in play mode. It will also charge your ipod whilst it is docked. It has various adaptors that will fit virtually any ipod (even my 3rd generation nano which it says its doesn't!) and a aerial for the radio. It even has its own handy little remote control. On the downside the power unit is Xbox 360 big and it does get mucky with fingerprints real quick, I also can't get the video to TV function on mine to work which (although I didn't buy it for that) is a shame. At the time of purchace (may) this was 10 cheaper than the white one - so its depends on what colour you want!
Nice gadget March 5, 2008 R. Yakob (London) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I've had this for a few days now. Its a good piece of kit for the price - but be warned that the ipod alarm function doesn't seem to work with ipod touches which is a bit annoying.
Good Small Docking Station February 27, 2008 Anon (Surrey, England) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
Very happy with this product. Like most people have said, the alarm is very loud first thing in the morning and the light can be a bit bright at night, however, nothing that's too much of a problem. My main issue is that my 160gb iPod doesn't fit the dock without removing the silicone skin, which although not a huge issue, is a little inconvenient. Otherwise, for an alarm clock or small iPod dock, i'm happy. Wouldn't recommend it as a main speaker for the living room but for the bedroom its fine.
iLuv this December 28, 2008 E. C. Carnochan (Dumfries) I got this for Christmas and I love it. It is great waking up to your favourite tunes and if you want to wake to the radio, you can do that too! Two separate alarms are great as you can have one for the week and one for weekends! The remote however is a tiny bit tricky to use, but it is really useful especially when it comes to setting up the unit due to the tunning wheels which are a pain to use. Once you have set this bad boy up, you won't have any complaints. Sound is good and the volume is just right for in your bedroom. Just check which ipods it supports prior to buying.
