Essential accessory for the iPod touch November 23, 2007

This is the most essential item to buy with a iPod touch since it has the old shiny chrome back (instead of the new anodised aluminium) which is a magnet for scratches. The front is glass rather than plastic which protects against minor scuffs but if you ever plan on carrying the touch in a bag with other items, I would not trust it not to be scratched. Given the considerable investment involved in buying a new iPod touch, the last thing I wanted was for it to get blemished within days. Having kept my iPod in this case all the time, it is still in pristine condition after a month of heavy usage.
The case has a magnetic button to stop the flap opening by itself and also a opening for the sync cable at the bottom. Very importantly, it prevents the iPod from being accidentally turned on (which happens a lot when its not in the case because the button sticks out very prominently) when in a pocket.
As I said before, this case is possibly the most important accessory for the iPod touch there is. I'd in fact recommend getting the case before the iPod so that you can keep the back scratch-free.

This item is essential if you have bought an IPod touch, it's very well made and fits perfectly, highly recommended.
Just updated this review to say I've had this product now for over a year and used it every day, and it works very well. I have dropped it many times and the iPod is still safe and undamaged.
I love the magnetic clip to close it.

take my and the other reviewers advice and buy this case. its a doddle to use the touch while its in it (and what a fit!). the quality at this price is un-beatable. after 4 months (daily use) it is still looking great and the ipod is in perfect condition. and unlike some cases, this doesn't feel too bulky in your pockets.

The case arrived promptly and it fits the iPod Touch like a glove. The magnetic clasp snaps shut easily and the front cover folds back flat when open, enabling the pod to be used without hassle.
I removed the belt clip, as I would be keeping the pod in my handbag, and the case allows me to do this without fear of damage to the pod.
It is compact and the leather is beautifully soft.
Perfect. Could not be bettered !!!

Bought one 3 months ago, for iPod touch. Really nice leather product, it fits well, protects well, and hasn't got scratched or looked beaten up, despite regular use. Well worth the cost, esp. given the cost of the Touch itself. Recommended without hesitation.
