Product Description
Now wake up and listen. We know you weren't in Take That. You know you weren't in Take That. So in the event that you wake up singing Back for Good you can either (a) bury your head under the pillow or (b) invest in the sleek, black and really rather clever Retro iPod Alarm Clock. It's a clock. It's a dock. It works superbly, irrespective of your taste in music. Synch it up to your iPod and, hey presto, it'll wake you up to your favourite tune from the Hit Parade, or your toppermost playlist, for that matter. And here's the even cleverer bit. As soon as you pop in the Retro iPod Alarm Clock, it switches the iPod to clock mode and even starts charging it up while you're off in the land of nod. And should the Sigue Sigue Sputnik emanating from the omni-directional speakers be a touch too loud for your delicate early-morning ear drums - and let's face it, there are times when even Roger Whittaker is too much for us - the Retro iPod Alarm Clock even comes with that most retro of analogue features, a volume dial. So, from hereon, on-time arrival at work is absolutely guaranteed. But whether it'll help you to sing in time is another matter entirely...

I have one of these in black and contrary to another review on the black system i have to say this is great. Very easy to set up provided you can read and follow very simply instructions!!!

Works like a charm and if you find your back light stays on then change the display settings on your ipod and dont blame the dock!

Would recommend to everyone.

Brought for my girlfriend as an early xmas pressie and it is great. Ignore the bad review from that person who obviously hasn't a clue about anything. Its simple.

Its very small, compact and looks great on your bedside table, she loves it, and its pink too!

The sound quality is probably the best feature, excellent quality and you will never have it at full blast.

Overall a great item at a great price well recommended.
Tom

Confusing, next to no instructions, I could never get mine working. Essentially its just a speaker (I was expecting it to be more integrated) so it should be simple. Just set the ipod alarm on the ipod and leave it to go off at the right time. However, it doesn't work like that. There's a confusing system of holding down buttons, waiting for bleeps, having the correct screen on the i-pod before docking and returning to the i-pod to set the alarm. After all of that it doesn't seem to work.

You'd be better off buying a nice pair of speakers or any decent i-pod dock. This simply doesn't do what it should. Complete waste of time and money. I had to bin mine.
