The best mp3 player for price, sound, and function February 2, 2008 D-Dom (UK) 109 out of 112 found this review helpful
1. Better than the ipod shuffle and creative stone on price, sound and functions. 2. Twice the memory of the 1gig shuffle, almost 20 less. 3. Unlike the shuffle, it comes with a fully functioning, easy to use menu, which sorts music by artist, album, genre, popularity etc. 4. Unlike the stone and the shuffle it has a radio, and it is the best reception of any radio I've every had on an mp3 player. 5. Finally, the sound quality is fantastic. 6. Never used the headphones so can't comment.
Sandisk MP3 Player Sansa Clip 2Gb Black With Radio February 22, 2008 W. Williams (Dudley, England) 51 out of 52 found this review helpful
Not long received my Sandisk MP3 player and i'm very impressed with such a small product. Charging didn't take to long, transferring my music is straight forward (even for a simpleton like me). The product is easy to use with user friend instructions, you can skip through your music with ease. The sound quality is very impressive the head phone are very comfortable and they stay in your ears. I'm very impressed with this mp3 player I do recommend it excellant value for the money. Its a small player but big on sound trust me!
Fabulous! January 31, 2008 meg (UK) 41 out of 42 found this review helpful
WOW I like this. I like this a lot. I am a fussy old so-and-so and I need good levels of functionality in my toys. This has it. The sound is excellent. The controls are easy to navigate. The screen is very clear indeed. The ability to search is very thorough - according to artist, album, genre or playlist. The Radio reception is incredible given the size of the unit! It is the size of a matchbox. It feels sturdy and the clip looks like it won't break off easily. The colour is much better than the pictures would have you believe. It is a shiny, almost metallic red and looks gorgeous. In addition to charging via USB on your computer, it also works fine with the Hama travel charger kit which comes with a mains plug connection and one for the car too. The battery life is excellent and the storage capacity is, of course, HUGE!! I have loaded huge shed loads of stuff on there so far and still not used 1 GIG! Performance, looks and functionality EASILY outstrips it's rivals - iPOD nano and the Zen Stone plus. Don't even think about it twice (I took AGES choosing and comparing functionalities etc etc!) this is the best one of it's sort - by far.
A perfect mini MP3 player October 16, 2008 Lee Doyle (Bristol, England) 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
I have now had this MP3 player for around 4 months and it has done its job perfectly. I thought if getting a mini iPod as I own the bigger one but it was just a pain to carry around where I was running or cycling. I saw this and read some of the reviews and thought I would take a risk and venture into the unknown waters of Sandisk... How right I was to take the risk :) Navigation: Very simple and perfect for active people who do not want to hunt around for things. the display is bright and very easy to navigate. I will also add that it is very easy to get to know how to use it. I now can sellect tracks and change a few things while I am running... This I could not do with any other MP3 player. It also has a HOLD button on the side which is great if you are cycling as you might knock it. Sound: I think this sounds better than my iPod. I did not use the earphones that came with it though. I would give it a 10/10 Radio: I have only used this a few times :( The times I did use it I had no problems finding stations or it breaking up... It does use FM so I guess its not future proof for DAB (Would nice to have this in the future) Voice Recording: I use this a lot now. To start with I would always forget I had it on my MP3 player... It is NOT perfect but for a mini MP3 player I guess it is not #1 thing to think about when buying one. I can always hear everything but it does have background noise as you might expect. *** Updates: This is one of the great things about Sandisk. It has upgrades for new features and other things you may like. I went to the forum and found some new add ons like new file types. This is what made me give this a 5 star. When my iPod bites the dust I will be buying the bigger models of Sandisk. I now see the light and have come to the darkside of MP3 players :) Sorry for the longish review
Fantastic!!!! February 3, 2008 muz640 41 out of 43 found this review helpful
The sound quality is LOTS better than my IPOD Classic so much so its not even funny, especially if you've forked out 207 for a IPOD thinking it would be the equal of the clip in SQ, oh well you live and learn!
