Product Description
The Vibro Blaster Max uses electro-acoustic technology to diffuse quality sound by transforming its contact surface to a speaker. This device transmits vibrations to the material with which it is in contact to transform it into a speaker membrane. Whether the Vibro Blaster Max is on a table, a shelf or other hard surface made out of glass or wood, your music, just like your personal sounds, will be diffused all around you. When connected to your computer or portable music player, this device with its 20 W amp offers an alternative to traditional speakers with an unprecedented economy of space.Power: 20W RMSSize: 60 x 60 x 50 mmWeight: 550 grams

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely awesome   January 23, 2007

The description of the Vibro Max is true to its word. The quality is amazing. I made the mistake of buying a Soundbug and was disgusted with the quality of that, but the Nimzy is in a leigue of its own. The power output rivals any hi-fi and if on a large smooth wooden surface, the Nimzy turns every inch of it into a crystal-clear sound projection phenomenon. It is compact and looks to die for. The remote control is a gem and the price is not that of the world. Don't get one if you are living in a flat/room as the vibrations will resonate to downstairs (unless you put it on a hanging surface, in which case, they will resonate upstairs). Don't get one for any other reason and keep me one of the very few lucky owners of the Nimzy Vibro Max and the coolest kid on the block. It really is an eye-opener and all my friends have hours of fun lifting it from a surface to notice that no sound comes out.

After reading some reviews and seeing similar products I was sceptical about the nimzy vibro max at first, but I do love gadgets and I had to give it a go. I was surprised by how small and heavy it is when I got it out of the box and how well built it feels.

The sound quality is good, I would compare it to other small portable speakers although it has slightly more bass and it can sound much better than most portable speakers as long as you have something like a large window or table to put it on.

The main reasons for buying this product are:
the fun you get by trying it on different surfaces
it's small size
how solid it feels in your hand
the remote
and lastly the relatively good sound quality

5 out of 5 stars Great for annoying neighbours   December 13, 2007

I got this for the sole purpose to annoy the hell out of my upstairs neighbour who liked his music too much...

after attaching this to my ceiling/his floor (tricky) I played at volume an mp3 track of mixed sounds affects.. This must have turned his whole living room floor into a speaker as we rarely hear from him now.

great item for music / pc's and mp3 players too....

4 out of 5 stars As a PC speaker, this is a compact solution.   December 29, 2008
JustPoo (When you understand why you dismiss all other possible Gods, you'll understand why I dismiss yours.)
I bought this from the third party seller (telephones online) for 25 inc delivery. It arrived within two days by courier. The speaker itself is high quality, reassuringly heavy and well constructed. I have it hidden on the desk and the sound quality is very good, especially considering it's about 2" cubed. With a bit of tweaking with the PC and the supplied remote the sound quality is comparable to a pair of good quality PC speakers. I'm considering buying another and fabricating a wire for stereo sound. For 25 you really can't go wrong. It looks cool, it sounds cool, it is cool. I would recommend one to anyone.
